A-Checks & B-Checks
In this process, technicians change filters, check, and lubricate critical systems. They also give a detailed inspection of all the emergency equipment. The A Check takes between six and 24 hours on a narrowbody aircraft. Meanwhile, there used to be a B Check. Operators have phased out these Checks and merged them into the A Checks. The B Check used to be made every six to eight months. It took up to 180 labor hours and could be completed within one to three days at an airport hangar.

Component changes & troubleshooting
Aircraft are complex machines made up of thousands of components. Each part plays a vital role in the overall function of the aircraft. Some of the most critical components include: Engines: The heart of the aircraft, responsible for thrust. Avionics: The electronic systems used for communication, navigation, and monitoring. Landing Gear: Essential for takeoff and landing, it must be reliable and well-maintained. Control Surfaces: These include ailerons, elevators, and rudders, which control the aircraft's movement.

Avionics
Avionics systems are critical components of modern aircraft, providing essential functions that ensure safety, navigation, and communication. Regular maintenance of these systems is vital to guarantee their operational integrity, ultimately safeguarding the lives of passengers and crew.

C-Checks
The C Check happens every 18 months to two years. It takes three weeks. Recently Argentinian carrier Flybondi sent its last Boeing 737 to a C Check in Mexico. It currently has no operational aircraft to fly. A C Check takes up to 6,000 maintenance hours. Technicians perform specific tasks such as examination of structures and in-depth lubrication of fittings and cables.

Restoration and Refurbishing
Aircraft Restoration and Refurbishing means the Commercial Aeronautical Activity of restoring, refurbishing or repainting aircraft structures, propellers, accessories, interiors, exteriors and components, after which the aircraft will continue to operate.

Structural Repairs
Aircraft structural repair involves a precise sequence of procedures designed to restore the airframe's original strength and operational integrity following damage or deterioration.

Support Services
Keeping comprehensive and precise records is essential for informed decision-making in maintenance and operational planning, facilitating efficient aircraft operation, and ensuring adherence to aviation regulations and standards. Aviation logistics plays a crucial role in the efficient planning and coordination of the aviation industry's supply chain. It encompasses a wide range of activities, including the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods and services within the aviation sector.
